On May 11, 2026, a major fire destroyed the historic building of Trinity United Methodist Church in downtown Madison, Indiana. In the months since, churches throughout the region have come together in support of Trinity’s rebuilding effort — a reflection of the deep ties that bind Madison’s community, and one that Goulding & Wood is proud to help share.

Two events this week continue that effort.

Ashes to Hope Church Crawl
Friday, July 31 | 5:00–9:00 PM

Christ Episcopal Church, led by Rev. Kirsten Springmeyer, is hosting a self-guided tour of eight historic downtown Madison churches: Madison Presbyterian Church, St. John’s United Church of Christ, Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Salvation Army, Christ Episcopal Church, First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Trinity United Methodist Church, and First Baptist Church. Visitors will learn the history and architecture of each location while enjoying refreshments along the way. All proceeds benefit the Rebuild Trinity fund.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under, available exclusively through madtixevents.com. A promotional offer — three adult tickets for the price of four — is available using code TRINITY26.

Steeples United for Trinity
Sunday, August 2

Churches across Jefferson County, southeastern Indiana, and neighboring Kentucky are joining together for a special community-wide offering to support Trinity’s rebuilding.
